Jurisdiction and scope · QUICK REFERENCE
A source country is not an availability list
A jurisdiction label in a research directory should tell readers what the source concerns. It should not silently become a list of places where a service can be used. State the label's meaning beside the filter and repeat it where ambiguity is likely.
A practical checklist
- Read the filter definition.
- Check the territory named in the source.
- Keep eligibility questions separate.
Putting it in context
An Australian notice belongs under Australia because of its subject matter. That categorisation does not answer whether a reader elsewhere may use the service.
Keep in mind
Operator Atlas does not provide an eligibility checker.
