Knowing the limits of a research website
A research website can organise public information and explain how to read it. It cannot take over a complaint, determine your legal rights or replace personalised support. Use the site's evidence and checklists for the questions they address, and seek appropriate help for the rest.
A practical checklist
- Identify whether you need facts, advice or support.
- Check the provider's stated role.
- Avoid relying on a directory label for a consequential decision.
Putting it in context
A sourced historical notice can answer what an authority published. It cannot tell you how your individual dispute will end or what support would suit you best.
Keep in mind
If you are in immediate danger, contact the emergency service appropriate to your location.
