Review literacy · QUICK REFERENCE
What makes a review checkable
A checkable review explains what was examined, when it was examined and what evidence supports its conclusions. Look for that method before a star rating. A polished page can still leave the central question unanswered if it never describes the work behind the assessment.
A practical checklist
- Look for named sources and dates.
- Check the scope of any claimed testing.
- Separate observation from marketing description.
Putting it in context
A review that discusses published terms should say so. It should not imply that deposits, withdrawals or support were personally tested when no such work occurred.
Keep in mind
A detailed method improves transparency but does not guarantee that every conclusion is correct.
