Choosing what evidence to share
Start with the recipient's stated need and send the minimum relevant material. A complaint summary rarely needs every document connected to an account. Keep a private attachment index so you can provide additional records through a verified channel if they become necessary.
A practical checklist
- Identify the specific question each file answers.
- Exclude unrelated transactions and people.
- Verify the recipient before sending sensitive material.
Putting it in context
If the issue concerns a dated support response, that response may be sufficient initially. An identity-document scan should not be added merely to make the complaint appear serious.
Keep in mind
Some formal procedures may request particular documents; verify those requirements at the source.
